Mr. Theme Park
Dennis Speigel is Mr. Theme Park. He never looked back after catching amusement park
fever as a teenage ticket taker at Cincinnati's Coney Island. After
working his way up the ranks of amusement park management, he
founded consulting firm International Theme Park Services (“ITPS”)
in 1983 and put his lifetime of experience to work.
ITPS offers a host of services to clients who own, invest in, or operate theme parks, water parks, specialty attractions, malls, and zoos. Among the company's offerings are feasibility studies, masterplans, pre-opening planning services, and on-site management.
ITPS generates a large part of its business outside the US and has conducted advisory work for clients such as Six Flags, Time Warner, Parques Reunidos, Paramount Parks, and most of the leading financial institutions involved in amusement and leisure investments. The Company has led over 450 projects, in over 40 countries, over its 25 years.
Mr. Speigel is a past President of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions ("IAAPA"), the global association representing leisure facilities and industry suppliers globally. He is a graduate of Morehead State University in Kentucky.
